APEDA registration is mandatory for exporters dealing with scheduled agricultural products. Follow these six steps to complete the process:
Before applying for APEDA registration, secure an IEC from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). This code is essential for any export-related business.
Go to the official APEDA website and select "Register as Member." Enter your IEC, email and mobile to begin the registration process.
You will receive OTPs on mobile and email — enter them to confirm identity and activate your APEDA account.
Log in to your APEDA account and complete the online form with business, contact and bank details. Upload required documents in prescribed formats.
Pay the registration fee via card, net banking or demand draft. Ensure payment succeeds to proceed with review.
APEDA reviews the submission and documents. If approved, you will receive the Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) digitally — your exporter registration is complete.
The registration fee is paid only once. There are no annual renewal charges for the membership.
Once registered, the RCMC is valid for a lifetime unless cancelled by the authority.
