The Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council (WOOLTEXPRO) is an autonomous body promoted by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It shoulders the responsibility of promoting Indian wool and woolen products in international markets.
Exporters of wool, woolen yarn, fabrics, made-ups, and readymade garments need to register with WOOLTEXPRO to obtain the RCMC. This registration is a gateway to export incentives and participating in global trade fairs.
