The Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) is the intelligent digital platform powering the entire ecosystem. It connects Training Providers, Candidates, Employers, and Assessors in a unified network.
It is the central system used for TP/TC registration, job role approvals, SSC affiliation, batch creation, assessments, and certificate tracking.
SIDH acts as the core backbone of the Skill India ecosystem, ensuring that every institute, trainer, and student is verified, compliant, and traceable under government-approved standards.
The Skill India Mission is a flagship initiative of the Government of India led by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to create a skilled, employable, and future‑ready workforce.
Under this mission, NSDC acts as the implementation and partnership body, while Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) represent industry and define job roles, skill standards, and training frameworks.

A Training Provider (TP) is an organization officially registered on the Skill India Digital (SIDH) platform. Upon registration, a Training Provider (TP) receives a unique Training Provider (TP) ID, dashboard access, and recognition to participate in the Skill India ecosystem.
Becoming a Training Provider (TP) is the first and mandatory step before applying for Training Centre (TC) approval, SSC Affiliation, job role approvals, or any Skill India–aligned training projects.
Important: TP status only creates your institute’s identity on the Skill India platform — it does not authorize training delivery, branding use, or certificate issuance without additional approvals and validations.
Training Provider (TP) Registration gives your institute an official Training Provider (TP) ID on the Skill India Digital (SIDH) platform, dashboard access to manage your profile, and visibility as a registered Training Provider.
It also makes you eligible to apply for Training Centre (TC) Registration, SSC Affiliation, job-role approvals, and future Skill India–aligned opportunities.
"Training Provider (TP) Registration simply creates your institute’s identity in the ecosystem — further approvals are required to run training, use branding, or issue certificates."
Understand whether your organization qualifies to apply for Training Provider Registration under the Skill India ecosystem.
TC Registration (Training Centre Registration) is the process through which an institute gets its physical training location approved on the Skill India Digital (SIDH) platform.
A Training Centre (TC) is the official venue where Skill India–aligned training, assessments, and batches can be conducted.
When an institute completes TC Registration, its training centre is verified for infrastructure, equipment, compliance, and readiness to deliver approved job roles.
TC Registration is the mandatory step after Training Provider (TP) Registration and before delivering any Skill India training.
TC Registration confirms that your institute meets the infrastructure and compliance standards required to run vocational training under Skill India.
Training Centres must meet specific Skill India infrastructure, safety, trainer, and facility standards for accreditation.
A Sector Skill Council (SSC) is an industry-led body under Skill India that defines the skills, standards, and job roles required in a particular sector (such as IT, Retail, Beauty, Healthcare, Construction, etc.).
SSC affiliation is essential for institutes that want to offer approved job roles, standardized training, assessments, and nationally recognized Skill India certificates.
Affiliation is granted only when the institute demonstrates delivery capability as per national Skill India standards.
The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a Government of India–supported organization under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) that drives the Skill India ecosystem and sets national standards for vocational training and certification.
NSDC operates through its Market-Led Partnership (MLP) model, allowing institutes to run **self-funded, industry-relevant, NSQF-aligned programs** without waiting for government-funded schemes.
Through NSDC's ecosystem, institutes gain access to nationwide credibility, Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH), placement networks, and industry-aligned training and certification pathways.
NSDC enables institutes to scale faster, improve admissions, enhance brand value, and significantly boost student employability outcomes.
NSDC empowers institutes to deliver standardized, industry-ready vocational programs that help students build strong career pathways across India and abroad.
Who can apply for market-led partnership models?
Companies with 3+ years of skilling or education experience, positive financial stability, and the ability to run NSQF-aligned, fee-based programs.
Trusts, societies, Section 8 companies, and NGOs with credible skilling experience or donor-backed operations.
Startups with ₹1 crore minimum funding or those offering technology-aided skilling/placement solutions (eligible for exceptions).
Large corporates meeting 2 of 4 criteria: BSE/NSE listed, BBB+ credit rating, ₹200+ crore turnover (last 3 years), or 1000+ employees.
Comprehensive institutional, operational, and growth advantages under the Skill India ecosystem.
