What is a Training Provider (TP)?

A Training Provider (TP) is an organization officially registered on the Skill India Digital (SIDH) platform. Upon registration, a Training Provider (TP) receives a unique Training Provider (TP) ID, dashboard access, and recognition to participate in the Skill India ecosystem.

Becoming a Training Provider (TP) is the first and mandatory step before applying for Training Centre (TC) approval, SSC Affiliation, job role approvals, or any Skill India–aligned training projects.

Important: TP status only creates your institute’s identity on the Skill India platform — it does not authorize training delivery, branding use, or certificate issuance without additional approvals and validations.

Eligibility Criteria for TP Registration

Understand whether your organization qualifies to apply for Training Provider Registration under the Skill India ecosystem.

  • Any legally registered entity — college, institute, NGO, trust, society, partnership firm, proprietorship, or company
  • Freshers are also eligible, provided they have valid PAN and GST.
  • Required documents: PAN, GST, and registration proof.
