The Spices Board is the flagship organization for the development and worldwide promotion of Indian spices. It was constituted under the Spices Board Act, 1986.
Any person or entity who desires to commence or carry on the business of export of any spices must obtain a Certificate of Registration as Exporter of Spices (CRES) from the Board.

It is mandatory. Without CRES, you cannot legally export any spices listed in the Schedule of the Spices Board Act.

Obtain valid IEC (Import Export Code) and prepare digital copies of all documents.
Fill Form-1 on the Spices Board portal and upload necessary documents like PAN, Bank Report, etc.
Pay the registration fee online. The fee varies for Manufacturer and Merchant exporters.
After verification, the CRES certificate is digitally issued to the applicant.
